TALK Program Offers Study Abroad

Teach and Learn in Korea (TALK) is a cooperative effort between the Institute of International Education and the Korean Ministry of Education, Science and Technology; its goal is to attract more American students to Korea. Participants in the program teach conversational English in rural Korean elementary schools. TALK Scholars receive a one-month orientation, round-trip airfare, a settling-in allowance, a monthly stipend of approximately $1,300, health insurance and organized trips to historical locations in Korea. The application deadline for participation during the spring semester is December 1. Go to the TALK website for more information.
